Beauty On A Budget!  "Use What You Have To Get What You Want!": Oatmeal, Milk & Honey.

We budget for everything form, bills, groceries, to luxuries. Let's find that bargain within our budget, "Use What You Have To Get What You Want."  There are hidden treasures right within your own kitchen that just may do the trick.  Remember when we were little girls, we definitely didn't have a budget for makeup or beauty products because we didn't wear any, so we did what any smart little girl would do.  We used what Cleopatra used!   Yes it's true, old fashion milk and honey is not an ancient beauty myth, it actually works!  For soft, silky smooth skin, "milk does the body good."  At Butter Body we use Organic Australian Manuka Honey, Oatmeal & Goat Milk in our all natural body care: soaps, body butters, scrubs and much more!  If its good enough for Cleopatra its good enough for us. Here's the recipe:

Ingredients
Let us see, 1st open your refrigerator, we have milk, lets take it out, set it aside, 2nd Open your pantry, let us see, we have dried oatmeal and honey, these are great for conditioning and moisturizing the skin. 3rd Get a bowl and a spoon.
Directions
Scoop a few tablespoons of dry oatmeal into bowl, then put about a few  teaspoons of milk onto oatmeal and one teaspoon of honey onto oatmeal, mix until desired paste texture. (We like it a med texture).  Apply to face with fingertips.  Leave on for 15 minutes as a masque or massage in and rinse for a face cleansing scrub.  Voila, smooth, soft conditioned skin, "Soft as a baby's bottom!"

It encourages wound healing and shallow abrasions and improves collagen .
Milk has several nutrients which help skin look its best. It has lactic acid which can act as an exfoliant and enzymes to help smooth skin. It also has amino acids that help keep skin moisturized.  Milk can help prevent damage from environmental toxins because it has antioxidants, milk does the body good!

How to Use: Just add milk (or warm water, yogurt or aloe juice) to make a paste, then apply to face with fingertips.
